The State Sunyu is located outside Exit 1 of Sunyudo Subway Station (Line 9) in Yeongdeungpo district. The hotel houses an on-site business centre, fitness centre and restaurant.

All rooms and suites at The State Sunyu features Ondol, Korean heated flooring. Each room is also equipped with a 45-inch TV, safety deposit box, fridge and safety deposit box. You will also find a seating area with a coffee table and a separate work desk. Private bathroom includes both a bath, a shower and a toilet with an electronic bidet.

Lovely stay
This hotel was our favourite on our trip in Korea. The location was really nice (right outside the station, line 9 also 2 stops away from Dangsan for line2) but also in a not too crowded/busy area which is what we wanted. There's also a cafe on the ground floor that we had breakfast at and there's places nearby as well as a Daiso/Olive young across the road for essentials. The room is a really good size and comfortable for two people with lots of luggage. Free tea/water bottles were provided as well as shower gel, shampoo etc and slippers. They cleaned the room everyday and restocked towels etc. I would stay here again and can recommend it.
The heating system is centrally controlled so our room was literally like a sauna at some points, but the windows open fully so it wasn't a huge problem.

Good
The room was spacious and there was a bathtub in the room. The location was great. It's just right by one of the exits of the metro station. The gym facilities exceeded my expectations though. It was spacious and there were barbells in the gym.
The air conditioning was not working. It was very cold and there was no heater on. I contacted the front desk and a staff brought me a mini heater right away. However, the mini heater wasn't working. :( They should have checked it before bringing this to me.
